Internet Radio Tuners | FAQ | Internet Radio Stations | Where to Buy | Contact Us

Over our many years in the FM tuner business, we have seen distributed audio take many forms. And with the introduction of various new technologies (Satellite Radio, DAB/DAB+, HD Radio), we have also taken a very cautious approach. For years, we exclusively built terrestrial FM tuners/receivers, despite the myriad of alternatives being developed. But as our reputation for quality in FM developed, we also continued to experiment in our design lab.

Beginning with the launch of the MD 109 and our World Source Platform, and later with the launch of our line of XM Satellite Radio Tuners, we developed expertise in D-to-A technology, and were finally happy with the resultant signal (and sound) we were able to achieve. It became the platform upon which we worked to develop this line of world class Internet Media Tuners, worthy of inclusion in any high-performance home audio system, and even whole-house installations.

With the variety in signal quality distributed via Internet music stations, not all broadcasts will produce CD quality sound. But, they are out there. And there are more than we could have imagined. With our advances in DAC design, and access to over 20,000 Internet Radio stations, we're excited to release a range of products that will appeal to even the most discerning of listeners.

All products in our internet radio receiver line-up feature:

  • Multiple Audio Sources: Access to over 20,000 Internet Radio stations via on board WiFi antenna or LAN. Access to terrestrial FM, DAB/DAB+ (optional, where available), and locally connected music collections in a variety of formats (including AACs, Real, MP3s, FLAC and WMA).

  • Intuitive & Simple Software: Internet radio stations are neatly organized and searchable by various categories (including country of origin, most popular, favorites). Touch screen displays easy-to-read information on current track's metadata, genre, bit rate, codec and sampling rate. Personal audio collections (attached via local network or USB flash stick/hard drive) are easy to navigate via artist name, album name or genre. When connected, the software automatically connects to the host for the latest firmware updates.
